Build functionality and solutions that enable Ripple to measure, manage and project our liquidity risk, market risk, and credit risk. Manage the strategy and successful delivery of the risk and identity platform that powers the workflows of Ripple’s innovative Risk, Compliance and Privacy functions. Lead and Drive vision, roadmap, and development of the next generation of risk and compliance platforms for all of our payments products. Work with the business stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Legal & InfoSec to understand the business needs, come-up with solutions and provide best customer experience. Partner with Ripple’s policy and security teams in assessing commercial and regulatory requirements to meet future growth. Synthesize product ideas from cross-functional teams and other Risk counterparts such as Product, Operations and Data Science. Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams and with the risk and compliance ecosystem of partners and customers. Telecommuting permitted 50% or more but less than 100% per week within same geographic location as assigned office location.

Job Requirements:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field and plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate progressive risk and compliance experience; or a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field plus three (3) years of risk and compliance experience.

Of the required experience, must have three (3) years of experience in (which may be gained concurrently): KYC/KYB, anti-money laundering, compliance, and fraud prevention.

Of the required experience, must have (2) years of experience in (which may be gained concurrently): 

• Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Function
• Leading and influencing a Product-driven organization

Or hold a valid CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) accreditation.
