Communications Department
This role is part of the Global Communications team, which is responsible for Ledger’s consumer communication, defining our consumer strategy, articulating it through product marketing, brand experience, and education, and delivering it across different media and channels. The role reports into the Head of Product Marketing, and works globally and cross-functionally to help the
emerging millions of users join Web3.

As the Senior Hardware Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for leading all global hardware marketing for Ledger’s premiere and trusted products. This is truly one of the most innovative and exciting roles you could have today, period. Ledger has the most sold hardware wallet in the world, and this role is responsible for not only maintaining the reputation of our products, but continuing to help millions of emerging users understand why they should care about self-custody, security, and protecting their critical digital assets. You should have incredible standards, care deeply about end-to-end user journey experience, and use innovative ideas to make the digitization we’re seeing across all categories easier for users to understand and adopt.

This role will also have the opportunity to work on best-in-class hardware that users haven’t been introduced to yet, betting on users’ willingness to build new behaviors and make choices that protect themselves and lead to the Wallet as your login for Web3. Your mission

  • Develop and be responsible for all Ledger hardware product launches and campaigns, collaborating with cross-functional partners, working on retail, reseller and channel marketing for each product globally
  • Be responsible for drafting customer segmentation and adapting messaging framework to new customer launches
  • Be responsible for quickly understanding customer profiles by key markets and maintaining understanding of market analysis, understanding that user profiles will change over time
  • Research relevant trends, offerings, and competitive offerings to determine differentiation
  • Extremely high standards for innovative copy, and simple, welcoming copy
  • Be responsible for gathering and working with cross-functional teams on price testing, pricing research, analytics and eventual recommendation
  • Share accountability with sales outcomes with key Business Lead partner to optimize for revenue success and business continuity
  • Extremely creative and nimble mindset, not satisfied with previous campaigns or sameness, and establishing the standard for critical digital asset secure hardware adoption
  • Build relationships towards cross-functional collaboration with internal departments (Whole sale, [ Ledger ] Market, Affiliates, Brand Experience, Globalization, UX Design, etc.)
  • Collaborate with artists, creatives, community builders and event organizers to show Ledger’s commitment to working with Web3 collaborators from the different communities for our work
  • Oversee the development of monthly/quarterly reports to track progress, address priorities and provide an overview for executives and advisors

    Job Description

    RippleX (a division at Ripple) is a team that champions the builders of tomorrow by providing blockchain developers the infrastructure, tools, services, programs, and support to enable the Internet of Value (IOV) - a world where tokenized value is exchanged as quickly and easily as information moves today.

    We’re looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial business-to-developer (B2D) focused Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead building a robust ecosystem of third-party developers, projects, and companies that build, grow and monetize their applications on the XRP Ledger - a decentralized layer-1 blockchain that was designed for superior speed, low cost, scalability, and sustainability.

    In this role, you will partner with cross functional teams including product management, engineering, marketing, developer advocacy and more to develop a robust go-to-market (GTM) strategy to elevate the XRP Ledger brand and acquire Web2 and Web3 developers to unlock entirely new use cases across payments, DeFi, NFTs, identity, gaming, tokenization, and more.

    The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading product marketing and strategy for developer focused products centered around disruptive technologies in a quickly evolving, start-up environment.


    • Lead development of the developer go-to-market strategy, including target developer segments and personas, value propositions, use cases, geographic focuses, and developer journeys in collaboration with product, engineering, design and developer advocacy.
    • Create compelling, differentiated messaging and positioning, with a clear understanding of the core components/value propositions for the XRP Ledger.
    • Increase awareness of the XRP Ledger among the developer audiences and industry leaders.
    • Drive developer growth by influencing holistic marketing initiatives, programs, and campaigns working with the broader marketing, design, comms, and developer growth teams.
    • Successfully lead the strategy, coordination, and execution of fast-moving product launches and initiatives.
    • Work closely with the global events team to create and execute in-person experiences.
    • Uncover and initiate new business opportunities and use cases by engaging with developers, conducting market research, and tracking competitive and key crypto trends.


    • BA/BS degree
    • 8+ years of work experience in Product Marketing within an entrepreneurial environment
    • Passionate and familiar with developers, cryptocurrency, and blockchain technology
    • Experience in growing developer ecosystems
    • Ability to execute with a lean team in a changing environment
    • Desire to lead, influence, and inspire a cross-functional, diverse, and distributed team
    • Proven ability to collaborate with others across functions in a highly matrixed organization
    • Excel at simplifying complex concepts in messaging and differentiated positioning
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
    • Core skill set in strategy, positioning, and packaging
    • Start-up experience is a plus.
