Cryptio is looking for a back-end software engineer interested in working on finance/accounting related products. You will be joining a squad of engineers developing the Cryptio SaaS solution.
Our stack:
- TypeScript
- Rust
- NodeJS and the NestJS framework
- PostgreSQL
- Redis
You’ll collaborate closely with our accounting products team, as well as the rest of the engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Write production-grade TypeScript, Rust, and SQL code
- Contribute to our finance/accounting related features: cost basis, gains & losses, impairment, reports…
- Develop new features and improve the performance of the existing ones
- Write documentation and tests
Requirements
- Fluent with TypeScript or Rust (both are a plus)
- Fluent with SQL (mandatory)
- 3+ years of experience building back-end services
- Confident with numbers
- Interested in working on low-level finance/accounting features
- Fluent in English & French
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Quick learner

Summary
Brave Search is looking for talent to make search.brave.com better. Your work will impact the future of search to be used by millions of people. Brave search engine is fully autonomous and independent with its own ranking, crawling and indexes, aiming to offer a true alternative to Microsoft and Google.
As a backend engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining high performance backend systems to solve many fascinating problems - from autocomplete / spell correction to custom inverted indices for web search.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of Python.
- Experience with technologies such as Kafka, Rocksdb, AWS.
- Experience running and debugging systems in production environments.
- Strong algorithmic background.
- Ability to work fast and under tight deadlines.
- Enjoys system design challenges, can build and maintain systems end-to-end.
- Written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice to haves
- Remote work experience
- Proficiency in Rust / C++ or a willingness to learn.
- Experience with MRJob, Apache Spark, Luigi, Jenkins or similar systems.
- Familiarity with Distributed systems and information retrieval
- Practical machine learning experience.
- Linux internals.
Location - EU Location PreferredAnywhere, but European timezones preferred (or at least a significant overlap with European timezones).

United States Candidates: The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $200,000 USD, depending on experience.
