We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager with experience in implementing customer experience and servicing solutions in an enterprise setting.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering or another STEM field. Graduate degree in a similar field is a plus.
  • Formal education in product management processes, methods and tools.
  • 7+ years of relevant product management experience in a financial services environment.
  • 5+ years of technical product management in a software environment, preferably within Financial Services.
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial services customer support structures.
  • Experience building and implementing a broad range of customer servicing solutions including CRM, ICR, QM, and WFM in an enterprise environment.
  • Hands on experience with contact center API platforms such as Twilio Flex or Amazon Connect.
  • A passion for cryptocurrency is a must, direct experience is preferred.
  • A proven track record of demonstrated leadership in complex areas, through critical thinking, thought leadership, technical skills, and relentless drive for progress.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Comfort handling ambiguity and managing multiple assignments.
  • Experience working in an agile environment with hands-on usage of JIRA.

    About The Role:

    The Pagoda Engineering team is looking for a person to lead the work on improving the user and developer experience through development of the NEAR Protocol. You will not only be working with complex concurrent systems, low-level code, complicated state machines, and novel algorithms, but also interact and collaborate with product managers and product teams to understand what could and should be done on the protocol level to improve the experience of end users and developers. You will be expected to project technical excellence, accountability, and empathy for the rest of the team.

    What You'll Be Doing:

    • Building great engineering teams, ensuring the happiness and productivity of the individuals. Collaborating with recruiting on hiring and sourcing exceptional candidates; 
    • Establishing and following the minimal necessary processes, like technical roadmaps, OKRs, milestones, regular team meetings;
    • Communicating with the dependent parties, which includes internal teams, the external partners, and the engineering community;
    • Establishing resilient team culture that can overcome any turbulence without burnout;

    What We're Looking For:

    • We expect you to have experience with complex distributed and concurrent systems; being able to reason about game-theoretic concepts, incentives, and adversarial scenarios;
    • We expect you to have experience working closely with product managers and product-focused engineering teams.
    • While you should have a zeal for technical excellence, you should be very comfortable with balancing degrees of risk and business needs;
    • You should be a great communicator and remain calm under pressure or when juggling multiple priorities;
    • You should be a humble and inspirational leader who is comfortable leading by example;
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fields is a must

    We'd Love If You Have:

    • We prefer if you have familiarity with blockchains or cryptography

    Here’s What Our Interview Process Looks Like:

    Depending on calendar availability, from the first stage to the final stage, we do our best to keep the entire process to under three weeks. Our interviews take place via Zoom and typically consists of the following stages:

    • Internal Recruiter Call (30 to 45 minutes)
    • Meet with the Hiring Manager (30-45 minutes)
    • Technical Interviews (4 x 60 minutes) 
    • Pagoda Values Interview (30 to 45 minutes)
